Rear shock problem

I can't remove the nut on my rear shock, it's stuck..any ideas..I need some help?

If you can get to the shock "arm" or shaft with a vice grip, hold it with that and remove the nut. That is if you are talking about the one at the top.

Try using some PB blaster on it that will usually take care of it. Or try tightening it very slightly. I would imagine that you have grime or rust built up in the threads.

If you have room, a grinder or a sawzall can work too. I had to use a grinder to remove the front struts from my Capri once. Thankfully installing the new ones was a lot easier.
