does any one know if external dimensions of an assembled 460 as opposed to an assembled 427?? any help would be great





1974 f-250 camper special ranger 460

 

the 429-460 is 27 in. wide, 34in. long, 29in. tall. the fe, 390-428 is 27in. wide, 32in. long,and 29in. tall. the 427 s.o.c.h. is 32in. wide, 34in. long and 30in. tall. boss 429 is 30in. wide,34in. long and 30in. tall. the heaviest of the group, 429-460 at 720lbs. the lightest, fe 390-428. i do not know where the measurments are taken at on the engines, i presume the widest, longest, and tallest spots.
