460 engine dimensions?

460 engine dimensions?

Hey guys, I need to find the external dimensions of a 429-460 engine......preferably with manifolds and carb on it. Maybe a drawing or a site link?

I may have found one for my COE project, but not sure if it will fit.....
Since I am using a GM chassis

, I'm not sure about oil pan clearance etc.

Thought I'd ask here first!

I'll watch this - if nobody has a drawing of it I can get rough measurements from the 429 out in the shop. Can't say at the moment if it has manifolds on it or not....

Do you need just width? Or do you need more? I can measure the 460 in my 85 F250, although it would be easier to do in the daylight. It's at least handy here in the driveway.

Thanks, that is real close in size to the FE that I just measured. Kinda hard to accurately measure them in the truck. Looks like they may be a little to big to fit under the floor of my COE.
I found an '87 ambulance locally for cheap.....was hoping it would work. I could scrap the carcass and get some money back....still might do it.
