ebpv valve disconnect??

I am in the process of replacing the up-pipe gaskets on my 99 f350. I have the turbo off. How do I disable the ebpv valve?

to disable the ebpv just un plug it..you can find it just above the blue dot in this pic

you will get a soft code..but no light..you can get one of these.
