EBPV Temporary Fix

I need to wire my ebpv open since the actuator rod is broken. Looking from the passenger fender into the engine compartment, should I push or pull the valve open? Thanks

i used some wire and wraped it around the EBPV arm and then around the corner leg on the pedistal. pull it tight and secure it. make sure the valve is OPEN. i wish i had a pic but it is a little too difficult to get back there now.

It should default to the open position when the engine is running, as the exhaust will keep the one side of the butterfly up against the stops as exhaust passes over it.
