Right now I have 1 Kicker CVR12 sub and 1 Kicker zx400.1 amp. I want another 12" sub and was wondering what I should do for an amp. Should I get another Kicker zx400.1 and hook the 2 together?
How do you power the 2nd amp? Will I have to do everything I did with the first amp to the second?(power wire, ground, ect)
Or should I sell the current amp and buy one to power both subs? If so which amp? I will need 400rms to each sub.
You may want another amp to drive that other sub, I would get a larger amp to run both subs off of, thats the easiest way if not you'll need a distribution block for the power and ground. Dont run 2 amp kits. If you run 2 subs off 1 amp wire them in series.

ok guess Ill sell my current amp and get 1 amp to power both subs
If you run both subs off of one amp. You know your getting equal power to both subs. But if you have 2 amps pushing two subs, the boxes will have to be seperate other wise you could damage you subs.
