I believe u. The most snow i have ever driven though was snow that was up to the bottom of my bumper with a 3k trailer. Ive gotta give this truck credit though. Its a beast for 2wd. Some of my buddies have been in aw with the way my truck performs. One dya we were goin muddin and my buddy brought his 4x4 burb and i went through more mud then he did and he almost got stuck (grant he had stock street tires). But still i am impressed.
I would agree... I took my X an awful lot of places in 2wd than I ever expected it'd go. I dragged my camper all over the mountains of Colorado last winter (in a LOT of snow) and only 'had' to use 4wd a couple times.
The X is actually quite surprising on the trail -- I havent been able to find anyplace that (with some skill) I couldnt get the X. In fact, the longer wheel base is deceptive... I used to hang up my Jeep on that hump in those pics of my X. Before I tried it, I would have sworn I'd high center it there.
