I have a 1984 F-350 4x4 almost completely restored with 4:10 and 35" tires. Right now I have rebuilt c-6 and a 351w that was supposed to have been rebuilt. But since I installed the motor it has knocked and lacked power. As of yet I have not been able to break the tires free. I am considering installing a 460 with a 4-speed or auto. I was just curious about how much it would cost to rebuild a 460 and which tranny should I use?
