Whose The Moron?

i was trying to sell my old rims to my buddy today and he was putting in a cps on his 1996. ford told him his 96 had to have the black one and suckered him into a black one for $140! i sent him back to ford and they wouldnt swap it for the gray style and it hadn't been installed! whose the moron? me or them? dont the 96 need the new style!??!!

mine is blue not sure totally on the color debate. I thought all 7.3's took the same cam sensor.

If the package has been opened no one will accept returns on electronics....That being said, the el cheapo cam sensor will work fine in his 96.

The 94.5 to 96 trucks now have their own cheap sensor but Ford probably wants to move the old sensors before they sell the new sensors. but like Scott said if the baggy was open your outta luck!

any one sensor will work in all 94.5 to 03 7.3's but there is a difference in the 94.5 to 96 sensors (tin coated conenctors) and the 97-03 have gold coated conector.
