Lightbulb F303 cam question

Hey guys, I have been pondering what type of cam I want to put in my 302 for a while now and thanks to youtube, and streetfire.net I have got to listen to many of the ford racing cams. I know some people don't like them in trucks but honestly I'm not going to be pulling anything or hauling anything heavy with my 51 1/2 ton. My question is about the F303 cam. It has a 226/226, 288/288 dur, and .512/.512 lift. With a C4 trans and maybe a 2500 stall would this be a decent came to run on the street (daily). thinking 600cfm carb..maybe a 650cfm but leaning towards the 600. I herd this cam many times and it sounds awesome to me. Oh and the truck shouldn't weigh more than 3100 lb with me in it unless I get plumper lol.

Sure... it's a street rod more than anything by the sounds of it, and pretty light too, all of the convertable Stangs weigh more than that.

if you have the right amount of stall you wont notice the power lag like you would if the tranny was stock. should work out fine
