Additionally, the AOD will fit the 255 V8, 1965-up 289 V8, 351C, some (rare) 400s. Plus, it will fit these inline sixes: 240, 250, and late (post-80 or so) 200.
In modern engines, the 3.8 V6 bolts up and possibly early 4.3 and maybe 5.4 mojulers.
The early versions of the 4.9, 5.0 and 5.8 listed by Conanski were designated as 300, 302 and 351W.
