I am looking for a suspension lift kit for my 2006 ford explorer and I am not having any luck. Anyone have an 06 explorer with a lift? Or know of a god one? Thanks.

Googled for explorer lift kits.

My guess: Too new, and too expensive due to irs. Seems to be lots of ifs mods, but irs takes on more issues with drivetrain angles etc.

I'd email a couple of the major mfgs you can find and ask them what the plan is.... Maybe it's in the works.

Thanks. Yeah but warrante is almost out, bought it late 2005 so the miles are racking up.

 

The big problem with lifting a 3rd generation explorer is the rear suspension. Look under the rear of your explorer and see how your halfshafts leave the rearend. They go through holes in the frame which limit the amount of suspension lift you can do without halfshafts hitting the frame.
