No after a bunch of Lope idle testing (removing and installing) my resistor pack it broke a wire that reared its ugly head the next morning at the Mcd's drive thru. The good thing about the bypass method is that if you have a bad conenction you get a CEL but the engine still runs fine. But my resistor is still inline until I get a chip burned for splits or my stage 1's get built.
alright tj can u explain to me how i should hook that up because im gonna try it tomorrow but im not very diesel inclined or good with electrical things
oh man tj, what a place to have issues, mickey d's lol. so you are running inline to settle your lope down? how is it working for you? what size resistor? personaly i like the sound of your idle lope in the one video, definatly unique.
For plug and play options use a male and a female spade terminal connectors after you cut the blue with red tracer wire. Cut it as far from the ICP connector as you can so you have some wire to work with. Then take two piece of wire and soldier them to each end of the resistor and cover with shrink tubing or really good wraps of electrical tape. Then put a male and female spade connector on each of your resistor pack. Then plug it into your ICP conenctors.
the male and female ends allow you to change to different size resisotrs until you find one that fits your truck the best or go back to stock if you want, some guys like the 10k, mine likes the 14.7k, and some guys get away with a 22k

I am now. I as running a 1K bypass style but now I am running a 10K inline. It does like the inline better. With the 1K in bypass it would still lope every now and then and also after coming off the highway would idle down really low and sometimes stall. Not very nice when turning on and off ramp!
The lope idle is cool if it were supposed to do that. But it not so I don't like it!
