cylinder location
I am showing a P0301 code and believe that I have a COP bad on cylinder one. My question is how are the cylinders numbered? I'm sure this has been asked and answered here before but my searching skills have proven to be of no help to me

Thanks for the info. Does it go 1 thru 4 on the passenger side and the 5 thru 8 front to back on the front of the drivers side?
I guess I should mention that this is on a 2003 5.4 Expedition.

Replace the spark plug at the same time.
Be generous with your dielectric grease inside the COP boot.
