That's exactly what I plan on building.I think this style of trailer is a great idea.The trailer will be the same height as my truck and will have the same size tires and wheels with the same gearing.Can it get any better?
Theres a guy in town with a trailer similar to that but it has tandem axles and he put 2 beds together to make it fit over them. It looks pretty good, he even has the same vintage of truck to pull it with. I really should get a pic some time.

I thought the pictures would be useful for you to see where to bend and cut it. Plus, he had a title for it so it passed inspection probably. The only thing I would do different is use a Bulldog 50 degree A coupling because I think it is much heftier that way. Especially welded and bolted on.
Other plus is your spare light bulbs are all the same, as are the rear lamps, which on older Fords are $5 at the junkyard.
