Side Mirror Adjustment
We have an 03 Excursion and a 03 F250 that both have mirror adjustment problems. The mirrors move, but not in the direction indicated by the joy stick. Like if I want to adjust a mirror down, it will go down and out, or down and in. Is the a way to reset the adjustment? Like a netural or starting position to get the mirrors back to a default adjustment position. Thanks for any help.

there are separate servos or something that control the 4 directions. I put one back together and there is no reseting them. It is esentially 4 separate threaded motors. motor unscrews and mirror adjusts out, screws in it adjusts in. Motor stays put and threaded insert moves in/out.
I would look at the switch area. If it moves as it does, it must be the control portion.
