4r70w fluid type????
I have type "U" trans code with 14 bolt trans pan cover, dipstick says mercron, I have read in other places that folks say use mercron 5.
just left autozone for the fluid and on the computer it said "do not mix mercron with mercron 5 or damage will result"
Can someone clear it up...i bought mercron, but am scared to put it in til i know for sure...
oh yeah, truck is 1994 5.0 with 3.55 gears
