Creaking front suspension!
Good Morning!
The reason your leaf springs are squeaking could be happening because of a few different reasons. The clips that hold the leaves in place could be rubbing against the leaf causing a metal on metal squeak. A way to fix that is to pull back the clip slightly so it is not rubbing.
The noise could be coming from the spring eye bushings. You will want to see the condition of both the front and rear spring eyes of whichever springs that are making the noise.
Your springs came equipped with tip inserts on the ends of each leaf. The tip inserts could have completely worn out and are no longer there causing there to be continuous metal to metal contact. The best way to fix this issue is to replace the tip inserts. While you are under the truck checking for the tip inserts you may want to re-torque your U-bolts, slightly loose U-bolts will make a good amount of noise at times.
It looks like you have a good amount of miles on the vehicle which could mean the squeaking is coming from a combination of what I stated above. Instead of replacing all the components on the spring you could always look into purchasing new springs, which would fix the problem all together.
Please let me know if this information has helped and don't hesitate to get in contact with us again if you have any other questions or would like me to give you some pricing on the parts you may need.
Thanks,
Junior
