I'm just about to order my dp tuner, and need your ideas.
My truck already has gauges(boost, pyro), 4 inch exhaust(will be getting stacks with new downpipe), and I will be getting the 6637 put when it warms up. Other than that, it is fairly stock other than stronger transmission internals and torque converter.
The setting of the dp tuner are as follows:
1. No Start
2. Stock
3. Hi Idle(1100)
4. 80 Econo
5. 120 Race
6. 140 Agressive
7. Lope Idle
The last three are for my own enjoyment and others.
Obviously the some of the setting will be hard on some components of the engine, but I try to baby this thing.
So I'm wondering if this would be a good setup with what I have now.

You're gonna love it!! Get that intake done as soon as you can -- it's important! Kind of like forcing your engine to drink from a coffee stirrer and exhaust through a fire hose...
And those tunes are good -- I'm adding probably the same ones to mine, but will replace the high idle with a tow tune just in case. I don't tow much, but I want to have it there just in case. The reason I'm not getting the high idle is that I have the parts to do it with hardware instead, just haven't had time to put it in just yet. Maybe I'll do that this weekend.
I agree about the tow tune. It's nice to have it. I can tow in the 80 econo all day, but there have been times when I needed to flip to the tow setting, such as driving in the snow, 4 wheeling, etc.
Yeah, get a tow tune. You never know when you will need it and it's just a nice gutsy tune for when you want some extra torque without having a bunch of smoke.

Speaking of smoke and the DP Tuner, will my truck smoke with it say in 80 econo? Besides the settings made to make it smoke or the race settings, generally will running the chip cause your truck to smoke? Thanks.
Yes 80 econo will smoke down at lower RPM's. At high altitude you can get a decent amount of smoke. Nothing to compare to say the 140 aggressive tune, but it's enough. The 40hp tow tune for instance has much more power than stock with no smoke. In fact, I've passed two Colorado state emissions tests with the 40 tow setting, and had opacity readings lower than stock.
One time I headed out with the 24' livestock trailer with the superchips on performance tune. We have a long hill nearby and the truck was losing speed going up the hill. The wife remembered something she forgot so we went back to get that and I changed the tune to tow. Went up the same hill and had to look back to be sure that the trailer was still there. I couldn't believe the difference. I would definitely get a tow setting, probably 80 tow though. Guess it depends on what you will be towing.
Personally, I'd drop the 'stock' setting for the 'high idle' but to each his own. The only time the switch is in the 'stock' position will be when you pass it by switching from 'no start' to 'the next setting.'
Trust me, you'll never switch your truck back to the 'stock' setting again. It's too painful. My wife's Ex goes like this... no start,60t,80e(caffinated),80e(de-caf),120,140(nastysmokietireburning).
I figure if I ever wanted it in the 'stock' setting I'd pull the chip.
I start my truck up cold on 1, and leave it there until it warms up, just because it was designed from the factory to operate in cold conditions like that. cold engine+high cylinder pressures, doesnt look too good for PMRs.
I went with stock, high idle, 60tow 80E and 140extreme. Figure If I am kranking it to play, i'd never stop at the 120, always 140 so no need for 120 for me.
