I've had the stainless steel one on my truck for a couple of years now.
No problems with leaking.
It does quiet the engine somewhat....but doesn't really do anything for performance as far as I know.
The hose will wear out before my metal pipe will. I think you can save a few $$ if you order it directly from KCM (I got the in-tank mod and did them at the same time).

Every other high pressure oil line you have is a stainless steel braided hose. Should've saved your money.

duh!
I don't check under my hood every time I drive so the extra Andrew Jackson and Abraham Lincoln I spent on a stainless steel pipe for my crossover to give me the peace of mind that I don't have to worry that the hose has eroded away and is puking all of the oil out of my $8000 engine was worth the additional .003% cost of a new engine.
Besides I figure it will last me 10 years at least. Figure that's an additional $2.50/year that I "wasted" on the crossover which equates to 21 cents a month for the next 10 years is what I didn't need to spend.
It's amazing that I'm not filing for bankruptcy next week!
I know there are other crossovers out there and they may be as good as the SS one I have. But it is worth the extra money to me to get the best I can and the KCM SS HPX pipe was at the top of my list.
[thanks for the advice iam going with the stainless tube
maybe i should get a pair of boxing gloves for you two just kidding
thanks again
