Killing in reverse
Hi guys i have a 2000 F-250 5.4 auto. and for some reason after driving the truck for about 30 min or so i go to back up and it would kill. so the enxt time i did it i let it sit inreverse for awhile what it would do is it woul idle down really low and after 3 seconds i would go in reverse and it would be fine but it idles down really low. any ideas?

Low ATF.
Loose internal filter.
Worn internal seals.
Worn trans pump.

second the ,,check the trans fluid.

Yeah i forgot to mention that the tranny fluid is fine

Then it most likely is one of the other causes I listed.
