power door lock troubles
ok a couple of months ago i bought a 2000 f 150 7700 supercab 4x4. When i start the ignition the doors lock automatically.Is this a type of aftermarket system or what? Would it be hard to change back to a stock setup? What is approxmate dealer charge for that?

I know the earlier Windstar vans had a feature where the locks would automatically lock when you got above a certain mph, and there was a procedure in the manual to deactivate this function.
The problem is, I think you believe your alarm system is not factory? If it's not, then you will have to figure out what brand it is and try to find the manual for it.
