Nothing happend to it I do not know about that truck. It is covered in dirt rust and spiders the gas is really old I really do not know is it supposed to smoke ? My 76 is alot nicer it has A racing 390 and a 4 speed but I still am looking for a Super Camper Speacial 1973-1976 So let me know if you see one in Southern California!!!!!!

i would say no,it should not smoke.if its smoking,something is not right.the type of smoke will tell you where to look for problems(blue smoke-oil issues;black smoke- fuel issues;white smoke or steam -coolant issues. good rule to follow,deisel engine smoke ok. gas engines smoking not so good. im curious, what you would consider a "racing" 390. a race engine to some is a set of headers and a 4 barrel carb,others see a race engine as blown top fuel 500 + cubic inch style engine.the perseptions can vary from person to person.
