What is the best carburetor to put on my 1976 Ford F-350 Super Camper Speacial RangerXLT it has a high performance 390 V8? Also how many scs owners on this site?? I know I already asked this but I really want to know sorry if I am wasting your time??? I want to put a new carbureter on my 76 scs but I want to know the best one for my 390 it has a leaking holley carburetor...

your not wasting my time. i love my super camper special. i know technically is not a super camper special but it is the 140 inch wheel base single rear wheel 2 wheel drive
one ton single cab pick up. my truck has the 351 (5.8) and the truck only has 12,900
origional mile showing. i bought the truck with 5,400 miles out of arkansas. the truck was a fire truck with utility bed and all the bells and whistles, in fact i used to pump water off it when i first bought. i didn't know it at the time of the special wheel base
but i did wonder about the space between the cab and utility bed, about 7 inches. i started looking online via ford truck enthusiast and found out i had a special truck.
i began looking for a bed and found one 2500 miles away, well i drove the 5000 miles round trip, put the bed on and sent the truck to the body shop to get it one color.
3 1/2 years later i get out of the body shop and right now i am putting on the rear bumper, mirrors, lights ect. in the meantime i fixed all the gauges, rebuilt the carburator, installed 4 core radiator, fixed the exhaust leaks, new thermostat and hoses, my next purchase is going to be a set of wheels as it still has the origional
bias plys super transport 16.5-9.50, and still has the origional sparkplug wires as they are numbered from the factory. pictures are in the gallery (not my gallery but in the ford truck enthusiast gallery).

Guess what?? I might buy another Super Camper Speacial the problem is I have no space to put it its a 1975 Ford F-350 Super Camper Speacial RangerXLT 390V8 Auto A/C
