460 help

I own a 88 F-350 4x4 I was wondering if I can get any more out of the 460 (stock). I have put 9mm plug wires,new motorcraft plugs,cap and rotor. Trans an trans case rebuild trans has shift kit. I want a littlie more power but not alot a money. (already know about high dollar bolt ons, but not alot of money to spend right now ,big family -x-ams soooooon) ??????? timeing advancement,ETC,ETC. If you could help appreciate it

460 help

craig,

well the 88-97 460's are virtually the same timing advance is one i run 13*-14* and premium fuel stock is 10* if i remember right. just down from this string a few more is a posting entitled "97 F250HD 460 Performance Improvements" check it out there are some excellent ideas and upgrades in there. From removing your air baffles in the intake hoses to the K&N headers and then big headache and dollar performance upgrades. Thay might give you some ideas.
