Does anyone know if the Ranger's bolt pattern is the same as the Jeep Cherokees? I like the gold Enkei looking wheels the Jeep Cherokee Limiteds used in the late 80's early 90's and was hoping they will fit an '85 or '87 Ranger. But I don't have access to either makes at the moment, and was just wondering if anyone knew.
I almost swapped Wrangler rims onto the Ranger. While the bolt pattern is the same, the hole in the center of the rim isn't nearly big enough to accomodate the Ranger hub, so it'll have to be enlarged.
That is interesting to know. Will have to check the wheels from the Jeep when I spot a pair. I owned one a few years back, and remember the small hole. Since these will be going on both a 2wd and 4x4 (hopefully) I will have to make sure the wheels can be modified to work. May end up just putting them on the 2wd since I would imagine the front hubs would be smaller. Interesting though since the Cherokee was a 4x4 I would think it would be big enough, but different companies do different things.
Chev and pre 97 F250's are the same. The H2 has the same 8 lug pattern as the pre 97 250s but the center hole on the H2 rim is smaller than the ford hub.
When I put the Rubicon wheels on my 4x4 Bronco II, I had the machine shop open up the centers so that my Warn hubs would fit. No big trick, cost about $85 for 5 wheels.
Cool, that is what I will do when I find a set of wheels for the Ranger. I am leaning towards putting them on the 2wd one, and finding a set of aluminum wheel for the 4x4. I like the ones that came on the 89-92 STX Rangers.
