Its a BB gun BB. Anything 3/16 DIA. will work. Remove the brass plug on the FPR and place the bb in the valve under spring. Its as easy as falling off a stump. If you go to web shots you might find pictures there. I know they are there but dont have any links. Just this one to somebodys sight but no pics.
so it looks like you can take the nut off then pull the spring out put the bb in and then put the spring in and put the nut back on becouse the nut looks to have a point to center the spring?
Thats it. Then check pressure. You will have to remove the shrader valve and replace it with a gauge. The pressure should be 60 to 70 but you might want to look into that and see what other people say. Remember to go easy with the wrench. You have fine threads in aluminum and you dont want to strip anything.
imo you wont gain any extra performance from this mod. it just guarantees that your injectors will have enough fuel on demand when they want/need it. i see this as a compliment to other mods like the 10k, chip, programmer, etc. when you tune this engine up it's putting more fuel into the cylinders so upping the pressure will make sure that the fuel galleys are more than adequately supplied with fuel. it will help an older engine (what obs isn't old at this point?) that maybe the pump or regulator spring is getting weak. any performance gains would only be seen on a dyno. some say the pedal is more responsive.
Did it myself. Didnt notice any diff. I says in the link "worthwhile increase in power and no one that I can recall has reported higher fuel consumption." NOT!
i was going to do it tonight but i dident feel like buying a whole package of bb's just to use one, iv got some somewhere around here when i find them ill probably do this
Like I said you can use anything that will fit. Some use a small scocket head screw i think its size 4-40 and you can jus get one at the hardware store. Look at the pics in the link. You just have to watch the pressure.
