Here's a TECH PUZZLE for ya...
There was a line under the sink with a restriction in it that choked off water flow to all of the trailer except the cold tap on the galley sink above it.
Four things came together here:
At a three way tee, there was a line running to the city water connect, and the cold side of the galley sink. There was a line directly from the fresh tank pump. The third line went to one side of a low point drain, and out the other side to the rest of the trailer.
The blockage appeared to be at the low point "POP-UP" type drain valve, so I cut it out and replaced it. When I blew through the old fitting, a small brass machine screw came out of it...
Here's the mystery - HOW THE HECK DID IT GET IN THERE???
-or either-
WHERE DID IT COME FROM????
Point: The city water fill and the faucet both have screens on them.
Point: The T.T. is too new to have had a pump changed.
Point: The screw was lodged in the upstream side of the drain valve.

Go figure.!!!
Got a better one than that for ya Wolf. While the service guys were prepping a new truck camper, they fill the water system entirely. Grey and Black tanks also. Everything went well until they went to empty the black tank, it stopped flowing like it should have for a 3" valve. Needless to say they removed the tank to see what was going on. They found, a roll of duct tape, the center of the hole cut for the toilet, a hand saw (like a drywall saw) and misc screws.

This same coach donated a thirty dollar box of lag screws to my collection, they were found behind a partition in the front storage area....

Chong: "Uh - I dunno man, I can't remember..."
Cheech: "Let's fire up another one, what's a smoke break for anyway?"
Chong: "Yeah... We have a lot of holes to cut." nodding.
Cheech: "Hey watch out! You nearly cut my leg off with that thing mano..."

The automoive industry is worse they used to do stuff on purpose. I worked (20 years ago) as an automotive technician. Customer bought a brand new Escort, come back in the next week with a rattle in the front end area. put it on the hoist, checked everything, test drives, the whole bit. Couldn't find it, only heard it twice. Car came back in the following week, we put them in a loaner and started doing a more indepth search. I finally isolated it to the front fender, I had to remove it along with most of the front end before I found a soda can with a note on it that said "You found me".

I can believe the screw was stuck in there on purpose -BUT....
There is ONE other possible explanation.
Can you think of it? I did.
I'll give you ONE HINT. I wanna check out the cold tap valve on that galley sink tomorrow, just to see. Anything lost from it naturally FALLS DOWN, doesn't it?
