starter motor?
Occasionally my 97 F150's starter motor keeps turning even
after the engine starts. I'd think it was the bendix going bad
but I even took the key out of the ignition once and still the
starter kept turning the engine over. Is this more likely
my ignition switch on steering column going bad? Any ideas?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 03-Feb-02 AT 00:31 AM (EST)]Hey dude, you've got a bad starter solenoid...no doubt. replace it and the problem will be fixed. Later Whit Oh sorry forgot to mention...passenger fender well....postive bat. cable going to it.
