I have an 2007 SCREW and it seems that it takes forever to heat up the interior or defrost the window. It doesn't get that cold here. Maybe low 30's high 20's. How long does it take for you guys to heat the interior of you trucks. Mine takes more than 10mins.

i don't really think the heater or the a/c for that matter in these trucks are the best... i have a 95.. now that thing can make u strip down to nothing in the winter and wear a winter jacket in the summer =)
wow. my heater takes about 2 mins to warm up. i'd say 6-8 before it starts getting comfortable in my truck and i have to adjust it to a cooler setting. i get in my truck and go if that makes any difference. are you guys sitting in your truck and letting it warm up? that could be the case. it takes longer for your engine and oil to warm up. not that has anything to do with the heater, but i think it makes a small difference. every vehicle i've owned it seems to take longer for heater/ac to do its thing if i just wait instead of driving off.
Yeah if I jump in and go it does heat up a lot faster but you have to sit in the cold for what seems like an eternity! If I let it idle to warm up it takes at least 20 minutes if not more!
The last few days it has been around -25 celcius here, and I let my truck run for about a half hour before the windsheild is totally defrosted and the temp gauge is up just above cold.
The defrost mode/floor mode sucks as far as I am concerned. For whatever reason there doesn't seem to be much air flow directed to the windsheild to do much of anything. I always set it to defrost mode only to thaw the windshield, then once I get in the truck, I turn the panel and floor on, and the interior heats right in a hurry!
