well, after redoing everytihng on the truck except some of my interior, its time to address it. my intentions are to fix my headliner, replace window seals on doors, re-wire, install some trim pieces and then swap steering columns when i go through with my trans swap.
first question, what are you guys using for an adhesive to keep vinyl attached to your headliner boards? i have a new board but need to know waht adhesive isnt going to seperate under any summer heat... and i've never had any luck with 3M's headliner product
second, what tips or tricks would u reccomend when r&r-ing the felt seals on your windows? anything else u may have is helpful. thanks
I've used 3M spray adhesive and I think it has worked great. AFA the door felts are concerned, it would be best to just replace them. They are easy enough to replace. I'd suggest going with Dennis Carpenter for the replacements. You can get the entire anti-rattle kit from them.
