Tellin ya guys, thats a Great Pyrenee not a newfie!, I have got a Great Pyrenee as well as the 2 Labs. She looks exactly like your pup!, I bet yours sheds just like mine too! LOL!
Actually, the GP is an offshoot of the Newfie line. I did some more research, and he could best be described as a Landseer, since he doesn't have the long coat of the GP or Newfie. The Landseer typically has a shorter coat, but the long feathered tail and feathered legs. White with black markings/blotches is most common, but there are white ones as well.
If it barks incessantly and sheds mountains of fur, its Great Pyrenee,
If it barks incessantly and sheds mountains of fur,........And drools so bad it needs a bib, Its a Newfoundland!
but it isnt a landseer. It def looks like GP cross. More than likely yellow lab.
Cutie though. My 13 y/o called me and is now shopping for a new horse. OMG! I am trying to talk her into another turtle.
I would have named the pup Newton. He looks like a Newton.
