2004 bounce

my sisters 2004 f-150 stx (74,000 miles) has a bounce when the brakes are applied. we replaced both front rotors thinking they were warped. that helped some but it still has some bounce in it. the bounce feels more like it is comming from the rear now. are there any known issues in these trucks before we replace the rear rotors. the rotors appear to be ok,as did the front ones, but i dunno what else it could be unless it is suspension related.

What do you mean bounce? like the truck bounces up and down when brakes are apllied?

Does it have the stock shocks? If so I guarantee they are shot with 74K miles on them.

The truck pulses or bounces alittle when the brakes are applied. Kind of like one will when a tire is out of balance, or a rotor is warped, but this one only does it when the brakes are applied.

if you say after you replaced the front rotors and now you can feel it from the back, i would suggest replacing the rear rotors noww to see if it helps.
