Shut the truck off and took the batteries in to get replaced both were bad got to new batteries free of charge installed the batteries the truck started again fine. Thinking it might be PCM any other ideas appriciated.

thanks
If it is temp related , may well be an o ring (IPR,,, injector ) ,,or may be injector poppet related ...I'll assume you checked the oil level.....

I did check, the oil level hpop reserve is fine and crankcase oil is ok. I just took out the ipr and cleaned it. The bad thing is I didn't see anything wrong with it. Is there a filter in the hpop reserve tank to clean or anything else. When you try to start the truck it will run for 1-3 minutes then die. When it dies the high pressure just dies and so does the truck then is will not start unless you let it sit for 5-10 minutes then it will start up run then die. Any more idea.

Thanks for advice

Yes, there is a screen at the bottom of the HPO reservoir. Might not be the problem, but it's worth a try and another thing to eliminate. Suck the ~1qt. out of the HPO reservoir, then remove the 5 bolts holding the HPO reservoir. The gasket between the front cover and the resi has a o-ring implanted in a steel gasket, and a screen. Take it out and clean it.

Is it a possibility that you tore an IPR o-ring? They are fragile little fuggers and if that plastic split ring is just a little bit bigger than the opening (ends aren't touching) the ring will shred and then split the o-ring.

I installed a new lpop with the hpop and it seems to be working fine. The gauge comes up shortly after it starts and does not fluctuate. I unhooked the ICP and the injector pressure seemed to stabilize and also seemed higher than previous starts. The problem is that I could not get the truck to rev up and then it still died after running for several minutes even though the injection pressure seemed fine until it died. Any ideas?
Thanks
