I recently purchased a pretty nice old 02 chevy truck....It was the lesser of the evils in my opinion....It is a straight old truck with pretty low miles on it for these times.....I did not notice that the rear bumper was pushed into the drivers side back quarter a little. Nor did I notice that the bumper had a slight dent in it.....My question is this. Is it possible to straighten it a little and make it just a little less noticeable. It is not really that bad, but, short of a new bumper, I would like to straighten it a little myself. If so, what would be the best tool to use on it. I think the rear quarter is a little bent, but that would not be a big problem, I have the tools and know how to clean it up some so it would not be noticed.....What do you think....? Thanks in advance....Nomadic

As far as the bumper goes ,, I assume ,chrome , it depends on what you can live with....
Logging chain+tree+judicous use of throttle= straighter bumper.
The nice thing about pulling the bumper out is if you pull just a little too much, fold a towel over the bumper and hit the tree; it'll push it back in.
And just to let you know i'm not kidding. If you don't have a portapower this is the most effective way to straighten a bumper.
Thank you for your reply Justin....I have done this before and I know that it will work....thanks for your advice.....I will try this when I get the time....!
