My New headliner

Well I ended up doing the Rebel flag anyway and used a real flag. Turned out great!

How did you attach it? Did you use any batting between the flag and the cardboard? How did you deal with the corners?

I used spray adheasive to attach it. There was already foam between the cardboard and the old headliner so I just sprayed the Adheasive over the foam and stuck the flag on top. I didnt do anything special for the corners.

Can you mesure the front to back of your headliner? I might be able to find you one. I know they sell 8'x5' rebel flags

Looks great, I did mine like that...now for the uh, oh.
That spray on stuff....wait till this summer.
With no AC in my truck, and 1 hot GA. summer with the windows down, it will start to sag to the point that you'll get mad and yank it down..
I hope that's not your case, but I bet it will be...
sorry

What are you talking about when you say "Cardboard, and foam"? Can I spray over the fabric thats already there? I'm looking for Confederate fabric, but if I can't find it, Im using a flag like OPs.

Sorry, but I'm gonna pee in the Cheerios. I'm all for freedom of speech and you should do whatever you want. If you're happy with it, good for you and that's what matters.

But IMO the confederate flag is a poor choice. That flag carries A LOT of bad connotations and is associated with a American part of history that isn't one of our shining moments.

That's why you should be proud of it. The fact that it wasn't one of the best moments in our country's history. The nice thing about history is that you can learn from it. Plus, by embracing it, you're kind of embracing history and the ability to be free, as well as your heritage.

That being said, the only thing right for a Confederate Flag in my opinion is on a flag pole right below the good old 50 state flag.

Nice work on the headliner man.

No. not again

I don't want to have another one of these "What is (in)appropriate use of a flag" arguments here... we've had 'em before, they're too emotional and nobody will ever win.
