my stock tires are about wore out and I want to install a 2" autospring kit and put on 33" tires on my stock 18" wheels. My question is, how many miles do you guys have on your leveled trucks after the install and have you had any problems with rubbing, or premature failure of the balljoints, cv joints, or the ends of the rack and pinion? will the 2" kit leave the rear a little higher so the rear won't sag if you put a load on it? Also, I know that the 285/18 tires aren't meant for the stock 18" rims because of the rim's narrow width, but how will they wear if you don't max the airpressure out.I have a supercab Fx4 and was wondering if anyone has a picture of one with the 2" AS and 33" tires on the stock 18" wheels. Thanks in advance for any info.

i have 56,000 on a 2.5" AutoSpring leveling kit with no problems. I just removed it to take the truck in for some warranty issues and asked them to please check the ball joints and frontend because i was hearing a clunk once in a while. Ended up it was a broken swaybar endlink and i didnt notice it because it was broke inside the sleeve. They said everything else looked fine (except for my alignment, but that was because i had it aligned for the leveling kit inplace and i had it removed at that time). Once i picked the truck up i took it straight home and put the leveling kit back on.
YUP!!! haha.... anyways, its going up 8"s shorty so they wont be seeing it again anyways.
I also forgot to mention. With the 2.5" leveling kit the front of my truck sits just a tad higher. With my trailer behind me my headlights were pointing to the sky, so I now have a set of firestone airbags. They work fantastic and my truck always sits level loaded and unloaded. When you are not using the bags they require 5lbs of air which you dont feel but makes the back even with the frontend.
Why did you have to remove leveling kit to take truck to dealer?

besides some other warranty work i needed done, i had a small clunk in the front end. Since it was in the front end i didnt want the leveling kit in place at that time. Ends up it was the broken swaybar end link. Since getting it back the clunk is gone so that looks like it was the problem. I wasnt sure if maybe it was ball joints or something along that line.
When i took the truck for the rear-end whine (gear replacement) i left the leveling kit inplace.
