i have the trans go in mine and its pretty good. The directions were really simple yet my tranny was just holding on. Ultimately a rebuild was nessiary, but now it shifts like a beast. 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd are really crisp and you can notice when the converter locks up.

Dreo that B&M switch is alright but Jet sells one that selects between 3 or 4 different settings...I'm not sure how but it looks good for 150 bucks.I got an AODE and all I have to do is unplug a wire to get my butt end to come around on me into 2......Luck

is it possible to use both the electronic kit and the spring kit on the same tranny? if so is there any advantages? on my truck truck the only part i really want to improve is the transmission and its the one i know the least about. I havent had a problem with it except the high rpm shifts at full throttle and the big block stops pulling after about 4000rpm.

I think its more of 1 or the other. I guess you could shoot b&m a question. But if you want it to shift that hard, just put the street strip spings in, that will give you whip lash shifting.
