Sway Bar question

I forgot to order sway bar drop brackets on my 97 F350. I have a 6'' kit I just put on, never bolted the sway bar back up. I havent driven it yet but just wondering, what would be the outcome if I took it off completely for time being. Other than handling, what else would be different? Thanks in advance.

With 6 inches of lift and tires big enough to fill the wheel wells, I doubt you will notice a difference in handling froma sway bar removal. Anyway, those springs are not going to allow any sway. Drive it. I threw out several sway bars for leaf sprung trucks with lifts greater then 4 inches.

Best way to know whether or not you need your anti-sway bar is to find a nice big parking lot and try out some high speed maneuvers....if you can handle the vehicle, then don't worry about it.

That is the first thing I take off when I get a new offroader. You will notice a "slight" amount of body roll during high speed cornering. But it is a lifted truck anyhow so you shouldnt be driving it like a mustang in the first place.

Man when I installed my 4 inch lift, with the heavier springs that came with the kit, well did'nt put my sway bar back on and I honestly can't tell a differance in the way
my truck handles around corners or off road, don't think you'll notice either.
