I have a c-6 tranny that came with my 351m,the motor is out of a mercury marquis,the trans works fine shifts great but the only thing is it works backwards,i has my column shift all messed up,i've heard that the shifter linkage on this trans can be turned upside down,an it work work correctly,the braket that came with the car is different and will not even mount on the truck,is there something i can do or change to make my park in park not in 1,it goes through all the geears they are just going the wrong way inside the truck it really feels funny,when i'm in 1st or low 1 i'm in park.......lol

Try to find a truck with C6 and observe the linkage... If the car linkage is the same, it may just be a matter of rotating, or you may have to find a junkyard linkage.
