Lets talk Big Oil

Well... I'm on the hunt for what type of big oil system is the best suited for our pickups. I looked at Beans stealth pump and I remember reading something about the terminator a couple months back. I want something that gonna be a good match to stage 2's and the D 66.

The pulse really has my attention. I like it because you don't have to rearange the fuel system. Not to mention, it will work on a 95 without the front cover mod.

I run the stealth and it works flawlessly. Also stealth is coming out with single pump units soon, they are not a modified stock pump.

Check out the new stealt pumps here: http://www.stealthpumps.com/

The stealth pump caught my attention. The only problem that I see with those is relocating the fuel bowl.

I also like the price. Seems to be a lot more realistic in my book compared to some other products.

I'm just looking for something that we nicely supply my injectors. lol.

RD- what is the pulse pump? Any links to information?

check out the dieselsite.com It's another unit that we can use without moving fuel parts. I believe it's a stock case with modified internals. So far reviews have been good.

RD- The pulse pump looks like a very viable candidate for the hpop upgrade. Your right the reviews look pretty good. Sounds like this pump may be a hot item for the ones wanting the upgrade their current system.

Out of the three or four that I'm looking at this CPR-Pulse pump seems to be the one I like the most.

I think the Stealth single is good for stock fuel system as well. I can't remember for sure.

Either way the new singles are the way to go!

Both the Stealth and The Pulse are about the same price. Personally, if I knew the stage 1 stealth would fit in front of my stock fuel bowl, I'd go with it. Just for the fact that it looks cool. But it says right there on the web site that it won't work with stock fuel systems. Either way, I just gotta figure out how to get $1400 to buy one.

I was reading on the Stealth web site last night and it says if they have a large enough customer base on these new pumps they create a relocator or fuel bowl delete. This is only if they are selling a good amount of the Stealth's for the 94.5'-97' pumps. I hope they do. I WANT ONE OF THESE!

See that's just it, I fear having to build a whole new fuel system. I know there's better to be had than stock, I just don't understand all of it yet. I'm a slow learner.

Know what you mean it is a scary thought, but it seems to be one of the best pumps out there. At least at the moment.

It would be nice to get everything out of the valley especially for fuel system repairs.

Anyhow, I've narrowed it down to the stealth or pulse. Bean's stuff is just too expensive in my book.

It appears the $1400 or so is what it takes to do these bigger upgrades at a time. Thank heavens for not being married yet or have kids.. haha
