Rep is about giving it, not getting it. When you do that, without hinting that you want it, it comes naturally. Take for example, yourself. You've given out rep 286 times and as a result people remember you and rep back, its why you're in the top rankings.
People who are concerned with their rep ranking... well, the virtual world isn't real so why make it a big deal. In 8 years I think I've looked at my rep comments less times than I can count on one hand.

Ken used to own the site, now he just runs it...He is "the powers that be".
I'd be curious to know how much rep I've given...I've really only been doing it for about 18 months or so, I think.
Unfortunately, the forum that covers my year of truck does not have many rep-givers. There are a couple guys there that KNOW those trucks and have less rep than I do because they don't hang out in ClubFTE.

Dang, Ken...you don't just rep a guy, you DROWN him..LOL. I wasn't trolling for rep, BTW, nor bemoaning my paltry sum in comparison to some, but rather stating that there are guys in the '87-'96 forum that really deserve a LOT more than they have for all the help and knowledge they've disseminated (subford and quicklook2 come to mind).
I wouldn't have guessed 169 times...I would have thought much less. Maybe I'm getting soft in my old age.
