i'm looking for up grades for a stock hieght 96, so far i've got bilsteins on the list, but cant find anything on springs other than heavy duty or lift. its a dd that spends its time on ny's pot hole riddled roads and in the land of speed bumps. anything out there?
honestly getting a lift is the best way to upgrade your suspension, even if you not looking to get much bigger look at the smaller lifts and maybe go with a bit bigger tire when you need new tires. I can cruise over speed bums at 40 mph and barely feel them and pot hole mean nothing to me.
not looking for a lift or a leveling kit, dont want any issues with the alignment on my dd. looking at the moogs up front, still looking for the rears. FSB RULES!!!!
When I got my Bronco it already had a 3 inch body lift on it.I like the concept of not changing the steering geometry. It also has airbags to control ride level and firmness. This is a truck that sees some off road but nothing radical. It is a lot of fun to drive and comfortable.I have lifted TTB trucks in the past in my opinion it is a lot of work and expense for very little gain, only in cosmetics.Either go all the way with a SAS or enjoy the ride.
I've used two wheel drive F250 coils with great results. They do lift the front about an inch, but the ride with Rancho RS5000's was perfect. Not too soft. Not too firm. Used to have really bad, potholed roads when I lived in upstate NY.
