Do I need them

I have a 84 EB with a 351w c6 auto hubs no smog pump how many of the vacumm lines can I get rid of ? and what are the things on the valecovers that have some vac lines and some ele. pluged in . want to strip as much off as I can. like to loose all the computer stuff too go back to just basics any thoughts

You're really opening a can of worms, removing vacuum lines. It can be done, but isn't as easy as you might think. The things on the valve covers are just vacuum manifolds. Smog equipment doesn't really steal as much power as most people think. Retarded cam timing is a much bigger culprit.

Boost your coil voltage and open up a little more gap.

I would find a super coil or something. that will help.

ALSO, LOSE THE AUTO HUBS.
