you can get around the light by tricking the computer into thinking all tires are up to pressure just by placing the sensors into a piece of PVC tubing, and pressurize the tube. of course, this would have to be made, but very cheap and easy to do. as long as they are all reading a good pressure, they will tell the PCM all is well.... even if its just in a tube and not the wheels.

I'm a 26 year pipefitter by trade so this would be easy for me.But,my q? is where do you place the pipe?
03REDSTX, By all means, let us know if it comes back on! It would be great if they would ALL go off, and STAY off!
spoke too soon....came back on for a little bit....back off today though....i dont plan on doing anything for it...a couple months from now the factory rims and tires will be back on....
Has anyone actually tried the pipe trick and had success? I've read where the sensors only wake up if they are in motion, which won't happen under the seat.
What would the dealer charge to redo the whole system...cuz my friends expy has a "flashing light"
mine flashes first then stays solid...it has been on for a day then off for a couple...annoying but not enough to make me waste the money....spring is right around the corner
Just to install new bands on after market rims and transfer the tires cost about 300.00, if you had to replace the monitors that would be even more expensive.
