you can get around the light by tricking the computer into thinking all tires are up to pressure just by placing the sensors into a piece of PVC tubing, and pressurize the tube. of course, this would have to be made, but very cheap and easy to do. as long as they are all reading a good pressure, they will tell the PCM all is well.... even if its just in a tube and not the wheels.

Any place that the sensors will be read, sounds like under the seat has worked.

sure.... under the seat, ziptied under the frame, etc..... just as long as they can send the signal to the PCM it will be tricked.

now of course, you wont know when you lose psi in a tire (according to the dash light), but then again.... IMO, is it really needed ???

03REDSTX, By all means, let us know if it comes back on! It would be great if they would ALL go off, and STAY off!

Has anyone actually tried the pipe trick and had success? I've read where the sensors only wake up if they are in motion, which won't happen under the seat.

Just to install new bands on after market rims and transfer the tires cost about 300.00, if you had to replace the monitors that would be even more expensive.
