Add A Leafs dont sit tight

I put on add a leafs that a spring shop made for my 77 F250 lowboy. The thing is the sit tight with the old springs in the middle where they ubolt to the axles and at the ends where the highest arch of the add a leaf is, but is gapped inbetween those areas. Is this normal and going to be OK? Will they kind of flatten together after I drive it a bit. Or do I need to take these back or something?

Thanks

Thats what give you your lift. The add a leaf is arching your spring more than before.

my front add a leafs on my 86 did the same thing, they settled a tiny but but there is still a small gap on the ends. Ive driven over 1000 miles, no problems except i hear a slight noise when i turn, which i beleive to be the add a leafs trying to move on me because they are not in the original leaf pack. I do not forsee any problems for you, because i have not had any yet. hope this helps
