Can someone tell me if it's possible to have a hub fed from a wired router in another room? The wireles Lynksis router is on the other side of the house and I have a cat-5 cable hard wired out the back, running to my room. Can I take the cat-5 from my computer and feed the in port of a hub that branches out to other rooms? (I tried a Trendnet wireless card that I gave up on-see previous ranting thread! lol) Also would it slow down my connection any? Thanks for any advice!

Yes you can..
That is usually what a hub is used for.. You have 1 active line and feed to a HUB or switch to add more lines..
The only draw back is yo do not want to run to many PC's off of the 1 line and it is not good to add another hub off this Hub...
Note: It is not recommended for performance reasons, nothing bad will happen if you exceed the amount of equipment..
Thanks for the input, I plan to run just one more off the hub. So, I have a wireless/ 4 port Lynksis router running two computers, an xbox, and then my line which will go into the hub and out to my computer and one other.
