Problem with the factory Holley

Recently, I had to remove the float bowls on my 460's factory holly 4 barrel to clean some junk that had gotten into them. There is a tube feeding the fuel from the front bowl to the back bowl that has 'O' rings on either end that comes out when you pull the bowls off. I got new 'O' rings when I reinstalled the bowls and the connecting tube. Problem is that I now have a leak between the front bowl and the tube. I've had the bowls apart and back together several times and can't stop the leak.

Has anybody had this experience and if you did, what fixed it"

Thans for the help.

Here's what I do: Install both o-rings on the very edge of the tube, do not roll them up to the "raised stop", put a tiny amount of grease on them. I've done it this way many times, never had a leak.

Thanks for the tip. I'll try it this weekend. I was rolling the 'O' ring down to the shoulder.
