I looking to replace the POS rear bumper the PO installed on my '68 F250 and I'm having a hard time. Neither Ruenel or ARB seem to make one. Any suggestions?
A guy I used to work for had them build and install a custom front bumper for his motorhome, I drove him to Yuba City (where they were located at that time) to pick it up when it was ready. I got the impression at that time that they'd build a bumper for anything....guess not!
Another option if you want something custom is to find a good welding/fabrication shop in your area and have them build it for you.
As far as I can tell there is no good fab shop in Sonoma County that isn't dedicated to only one type of vehicle. It's been a thorn in my side for a while. Thanks for the help.
I used to know some folks around Santa Rosa who did race car fabrication, among other things. There are a few good fabricators up here at Clear Lake too...
Workindog - CHeck out my gallery - I've got a simular problem, aftermarket bumper on my '72, want to take it back stock. Problem is I can find the bumper, but not the brackets... I'm to the point of buying something from Blue Oval or LMC and fabricating something. Anyone else with a better idea?
