Need new shocks

Hello, I am new here. And I am in need of new shocks on my 2001 5.4 SC 4W. I was looking at Trailmaster SSV, but I started reading some threads and it looks like they are to much for my needs. I drive the trunk on the highway and hardly ever off road. I just want it to drive nice on the highway. So, what might be the best buy for my needs? Thank you

I bought Monroe Reflex for the front of my truck, and they ride pretty nice.
If i was to do it again, i would probably get some thing that rides stiffer since i offroad alot.

I installed a set of Bilsteins about a year ago. They were highly recommended by many people on this forum. I find them to be a bit stiff but not too bad.

My latest are Monroe Sensatracs, IIRC all 4 cost under $100 from NAPA and they ride great.

II bought some Procomp Explorers 9000s - nitrogen charged, twin tube, 10 stage valving. They are perfect on road - stable, beefy but not too rough. Offroad they are supposed to be great as well (thats the target audience), but I dont have experience with them beyond curb hopping and dirt roads... On a 2wd, you are kinda limited on the front since the springs limit the OD of the shock body. I dont know what the situation is on a 4wd... The rear shocks are much larger and stabilize loads much better than wornout tiny shocks under the bed. The reats are probably 1.5x as thick as OEM shocks.

BTW - they are made in USA!

$150 for all 4 - and include shock boots.. Better than local parts stores in my area. I got them based on reviews on the F150 forums...
